Pink? What is your favorite color

By Lyssa Rothrock.

Pink reminds me of baby fresh new,
Defiantly not the color of blue.
The color of pig noses,
Favorite of long stem roses,
That brings good feeling all the way to your toes’.
Pink is the color of the sunset,
After a short autumn day.
Pink is the strawberry ice cream,
That we eat after we play.
Pink bubble gum stuck to my shoes,
Reminds me of just like Elmer’s glue.
My pink T-shirt I love to wear,
Looks like cotton candy I ate at the fair!
When I fell sick and not up for the mall,
I went to the cabinet and reached for the pink Pepto-Bismol.
I laughed so hard while writing this poem,
It tickles me pink so I keep going and going.
Not only is pink my favorite color,
My dad loves it too and even my mother.
Pink is like the color of salmon,
Ask the chicken of the sea.
And it’s a natural source of OMEGA-3!
